The project has been structured around 3 work packages:
WP1: Coordination
- Regular online meetings among partners to assess project development (technical progress, financial management, risk identificacion and mitigation, quality control, etc.), reducing environmental impact and time constraints compared to face-to-face meetings.
- Shared documentary repository with online resources (reports, specific regulations, user manuals for teachers and students, assessment tools, among othes).
WP2: Research and Development
Task 2.1: Research and Development
- Comparative framework of the spacific regulations for electrical substations in each of the participating partners’ countries.
- Identification of the characteristics of electrical substations in each of the participating partners’ countries.
- Identification of technical operating procedures in electrical substations in each of the participating partners’ countries.
- Identificacion of the PPE required for access to and operations in electrical substations in each of the participating partners’ countries.
Task 2.2: Development of 3D models
- Open collaborative 3D VR model of an electrical substation (transformer substation), including the main distinctive features identified among the participating partners’ countries.
Task 2.3: Teacher training
- Training of the teachers participating in the project in digital technologies using different models and technologies based on VR and AR, including an intensive stay in Dresden for all project partners during May 2025.
- Development of a user manual for the simulator and its educational application.
Task 2.4: Student testing
- Development of an assessment tool for its educational application.
- Implementation of the simulation practice of the transformer substation during the months of October to December 2025.
WP3: Dissemination and Transfer
- Creation of an original logo for VR4TES
- Creation of a website
- Publications on social media
- Communication and promotion plan
- Participation in dissemination events
